This is a FREE service for homeowners living in
houses that need minor repairs, replacements and
renovations necessary for home safety.
Have you heard, “It takes a village to raise a child”? This program is about
revitalizing our community -- with a network of volunteers, skilled
craftpersons, and generous donors.
Highland Ridge CDC’s realizes that it takes this community of relationships, partnerships and teamwork to support our mission.

Many who live in the City of Washington have a need to make their homes safe. Some of these residents are low-income, elderly, disabled, or veterans. If you are interested in our services or are in need of assistance, learn more here.
VOLUNTEERS & EXPERTS
Friends and neighbors in a community join the project to help our fellow neighbor because they care. This is the heart and soul of the Mending Fences program.
HRCDC also partners with skilled professionals, from carpenters to plumbers, electricians, and masons.
Thanks to the generosity and commitment of
philanthropists, corporations, foundations, schools, organizations, partnerships, and individuals, we can fund repairs, replacements, and renovations for many of our local residents, with work that is free to our neighbors in need.
